Deca­des of sound experience

Mar­tin Bien­lein has deca­des of expe­ri­ence in asso­cia­ti­ons and in poli­ti­cal advocacy.

  • Sin­ce 2020, he has held various man­da­tes: health insu­rance tariffs, deve­lo­p­ment of a child pro­tec­tion orga­niza­ti­on, church cam­paign pro­ject, advo­ca­cy for an asso­cia­ti­on in the health sec­tor, asso­cia­ti­on con­sul­ting (stra­tegy) and dos­sier pro­ces­sing for tob­ac­co control.
  • Befo­re that, he work­ed for 17 years at the natio­nal hos­pi­tal asso­cia­ti­on H+ The Swiss Hos­pi­tal Fede­ra-tion (health poli­cy, espe­ci­al­ly ser­vice pro­vi­ders), 13 of which in a lea­ding posi­ti­on as head of the stra­te-gic unit Politics.
  • In the 1990s he was on the board of the Asso­cia­ti­on of Swiss Stu­dent Asso­cia­ti­ons VSS (edu­ca­ti­on poli-cy, espe­ci­al­ly hig­her edu­ca­ti­on policy).

Uni­ver­si­ty

His stu­dies of poli­ti­cal sci­ence and law in Bern and Gen­e­va (the­sis on fede­ra­lism) pro­vi­ded him with a sys­te­ma­tic and pro­fes­sio­nal know­ledge and under­stan­ding of Swiss politics.
